Michelle Denise Bennett, 46, of Janesville passed away August 31, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at U-W Hospital, Madison following a long battle. Michelle was born on May 6, 1965 in Cuba City, WI, the daughter, of John Bernard and Phyllis (McBreen) Miller. She graduated from Madison East High School in 1983, attended U-W Madison for 2 years and received a degree in early childhood development from Madison Area Technical College. Michelle married Charles “ Chuck” Bennett on November 14, 1992. She was employed as a child care provider and also as a respite care coordinator for United Cerebral Palsy of South Central Wisconsin. Michelle was a member of Cargill United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Girl Scout leader, 4-H leader and a Boy Scout leader.

Surviving are her husband, Charles “Chuck” Bennett, two children, Kyle, age 14, Savannah, age 9, her father in law and mother in law, Albert and Nancy Bennett, sisters in law, Jennifer (John) Leto, Krystal (Eric) Goodger, one niece, two nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will meet friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10,2011 at Cargill United Methodist Church, 2000 Wesley Avenue, Janesville to be followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Celebration of Life Eternal. Rev. Forrest Wells and Rev. Barbara Wells will officiate. A memorial fund will be established in Michelle’s name.
